LONDON - A computer containing banking security details of more than a million people has been sold on eBay for 35 pounds ($92), bank officials said - the latest in a series of losses of personal data in the U.K.
The computer contained account numbers, passwords, mobile telephone numbers and signatures. It belonged to MailSource UK - an arm of Graphic Data, an archiving company that holds financial information for Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest and American Express. August 27, 2008

BERLIN - A major archive of World War II-era documents in Germany says it has completed digitising some 6.7 million documents on the Nazis' slave labour program.
The International Tracing Service in Bad Arolsen says digitisation will help preserve the documents. Copies of the data were transferred to Jerusalem's Yad Vashem Memorial, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Institute of National Remembrance in Poland. August 26, 2008

TOKYO - Nintendo's hit Wii console with its wandlike remote controller has been targeted in patent infringement complaints by a US technology company.
Hillcrest Laboratories, based in Rockville, has filed a complaint with the US International Trade Commission in Washington D.C., and a patent infringement lawsuit in the US District Court in Maryland against Nintendo Corp., the company said in a statement. August 26, 2008
