ATTENTION: Website Designer's How do I go about adding a picture as a website background ? Cheers
geek_dunedin_reeMarch 18, 2008, 7:58 pm#2
I believe that you print out the intended background picture, screw it up into a tiny ball, load it into a gun and shoot it at the website.
geek_woogmoMarch 18, 2008, 8:01 pm#3
First step print the picture out, place it on a wooden table, then take a picture of it with the wooden table visible in the background
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 8:02 pm#4
WOW That's so funny
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 8:03 pm#5
FFS You lot are so thick.
geek_dunedin_reeMarch 18, 2008, 8:03 pm#6
Pffft tables are so 1998. At the very least, use retro formica and not wood. You could also print out the picture and throw it down a cascading waterfall. That's nice and present-day.
geek_flewyMarch 18, 2008, 8:11 pm#7
Troll feeding time!
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 8:20 pm#8
Hmm open up the website you want the background picture to be on, print picture out to be JUST under the size of your monitor and superglue it around all inside edges of the monitor.
geek_soodanimMarch 18, 2008, 8:21 pm#9
I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you lol
geek_savagehurricaneMarch 18, 2008, 8:22 pm#10
Lol sexylady
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 8:24 pm#11
Oh and dont forget to add the letters K.A.R.M.A in the centre of the picture in BIG bold lettering
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 8:46 pm#12
.... B*T&H
geek_mwoodMarch 18, 2008, 8:49 pm#13
Best to use FrontPage or similiar wysiwyg editor and format a background
geek_morrisman1March 18, 2008, 8:49 pm#14
Lol @ this thread! i guess pixma wont ask a question here without sufficient detail to answer it properly...aye pixma
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 8:50 pm#15
Morrisman 1 ? What ?
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 8:53 pm#16
I don't think its lack of info morrisman Pixma was very rude and insulting to me yesterday, so the "locals" have refused to give him any help.
geek_gyrogearlooseMarch 18, 2008, 8:55 pm#17
Um, pixma was rude to you today too and he started an off-topic thread...
geek_morrisman1March 18, 2008, 8:56 pm#18
Oh im a bit behind!! i didnt go on here yesterday. too damn busy. i could get my oil torch out too. anyone fancy a stoning? i could list some rocks - will guarantee quality and a good thud when thrown at pixma!
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 8:57 pm#19
Yeah oil torch seems good as it seems he has started again tongiht http://www.trademe.co.nz/Community/MessageBoard/Messages.aspx?id=24860870&threadid=24860870<br />
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 8:58 pm#20
How many stones can you supply? i need a few sack loads, can you supply a "Buy Now"
geek_morrisman1March 18, 2008, 9:03 pm#21
Would you like beach stones or morrisman1's driveway stones? one is in a higher abundance than the other! do you have a particular shape and weight in size to suit your stoning style? the latest models are called 'ouch' after the last words of many victims, aerodynamically designed for optimum airspeed and range
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:05 pm#22
Pixma Please remove what i said from your profile ... what are you hoping to gain by pasting what i said ON your profile? ... you are only making things worse for yourself, you have progressed from digging a hole for yourself with a garden trowel to spade to shovel and are about to have to hire a “cat 35 ton digger”
geek_jancemordMarch 18, 2008, 9:06 pm#23
I Feel Sorry 4 His Mates Website
geek__whateverMarch 18, 2008, 9:07 pm#24
I think pix has plenty of stones already asking for help in here!
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:07 pm#25
Hmm morrisman anything with sharp edges and a bit of weight behind them please.
geek_morrisman1March 18, 2008, 9:14 pm#26
You might have to settle for the 2007 model of the schist. the 2008 model is more rounder in the interests of frontal impact resistance and pedestrian protection. high mass and a tendancy to generate shrapnal provide you with a satisfying experience
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:19 pm#27
Of why thank you morrisman i do believe i will have a few sacks of the 2007 model of the schist, i must admit that is sounds just Wonderfull!, Can you provide a GST Invoice with that, i think i can get away with calling it a work expense...
geek_savagehurricaneMarch 18, 2008, 9:26 pm#28
How can pixma not know the size of the hard drive in the computer he's selling?
geek_soodanimMarch 18, 2008, 9:28 pm#29
I dunno.... just wondering why the thread is still here! lol
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 9:29 pm#30
.... I don't have a spare keyboard/mouse/monitor to test it on. It had XP HOME loaded onto it but TM conplained so I'll have to hook it up to remove it. I think I can do it without a screen though...Insert CD into drive...Hit anykey...Press E. DONE
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:30 pm#31
That i wouldn't like to answer that savagehurricane, as i have not seen a HDD yet that has not had the size written on it, most people whould have collected the information from the HDD its self....
geek_savagehurricaneMarch 18, 2008, 9:32 pm#32
You don't have a spare keyboard etc to test it on? As sexylady said you can look at the HD itself... and who the hell doesn't have a keyboard, mouse and monitor in their house these days? especially as your profile USED to say "self proclaimed tech"... that was before is said web designer... you can't seem to make up your mind or tell a story straight.
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:33 pm#33
Voted
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 9:38 pm#34
.... I have 4 setups, all are being used by someone or doing something.
geek_savagehurricaneMarch 18, 2008, 9:41 pm#35
So check the HD size when one of the four is no longer in use and THEN list your computer for sale... geez... have you got any brain cells at all?
geek_pixmaMarch 18, 2008, 9:42 pm#36
.... I'm NEVER coming back to this forum cat again. GOODBYE
geek_savagehurricaneMarch 18, 2008, 9:44 pm#37
Goodbye and good ...
geek_soodanimMarch 18, 2008, 9:45 pm#38
Lol what were those words..... MAKE ME! Wooohhoooooo
geek__sexylady_March 18, 2008, 9:46 pm#39
