Antivir - what about the emails? Have downloaded the Free Antivir, but notice it does not scan emails, which is probably where most of viruses would come in thru?? - should I pay to get it upgraded - does anyone know what $$ is costs

And you should never download no e-mails with out-loock express anyhow. Use thunderbird mail or never even download no mails I keep my mail on the server webbased only.PS with linux or mac you can download mails with virus no problem nothing will happen....

I read here several posts discussing antivirus and there were pro's and con's with antivir and avast - antivir seemed to be the choice of many so I downloaded it - now I am confused - I see avast also scans emails - maybe I should remove antivir and download avast - I need opinions on making my decision on this - if anyone can help please

How To Scan Emails With AntiVir; right click on taskbar Antivir Guard;Click Configure AntiVir; TICK BOX Expert Mode; Click on the + on General; Click on Email; Enter details as in outlook express; TICK USE AUTHENTICATION; Enter username and pass; Click TEST; If you have done it right; You will have a TEST mail from yourself; close CONFIG; (might want to UNTICK Expert Mode) :D
