| Are there any others apart from Woolworths (which don't deliver to dunedin anyway)? |
| geek_seriouslycgi | August 27, 2008, 9:35 pm | #4 |
| Woolworths has online shopping to certain areas i signed up but never used it |
| geek_flewy | August 27, 2008, 9:35 pm | #5 |
| Well if its on line the cpacity of it is endless the customership on the other hand is probably limited. |

| IMO this world is already to vacant of face to face interactions, , I have grave fears for the mentle stabilyity of our future generations with dealing with complex personalaties lol |

| the online organic only market is potentially is huge. |
| geek_flewy | August 27, 2008, 9:40 pm | #8 |
| But unless you sell direct with your own market garden, middlemanship is always dodgy |

| my regular sub60 guy is pretty good, but he doesn't even touch the products [the food is packed in those heavy as plastic baskets] the packers @ newmarket foodtown get a bit rough - bruised fruit, the odd busted egg, cut [vacuum packed] coffee packets! is this general :p |
| geek_flewy | August 27, 2008, 9:51 pm | #10 |
| LOL yeah WTF we talking bout, lets talk about nappies eh? Disposable or wash ya own? |
| geek_seriouslycgi | August 27, 2008, 10:04 pm | #11 |
| Might be good money in designing software to tyake orders a day in advance, mass shopping list and delivery without the supermarket being involved. that way you do the shopping once or twice a day and deliver the rest of the day. |
| geek_0800xford | August 27, 2008, 10:24 pm | #12 |
| funny you mention nappies, i got some free and baby wipes from foodtown online shopping. no sprogs here:0 |

| We just don't have the density of population compared to places like the UK. Even if you stuck to areas like Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, there just wouldn't be the market for it. |
| geek_0800xford | August 27, 2008, 10:40 pm | #14 |
| most of the people who i tell wonder why i don't 'just go in' =s |
| geek_flewy | August 27, 2008, 10:42 pm | #15 |
| Agreed badcam, and IMO one the market is small, two novelty would wear thin quick as missing good interaction is the key Saw an article on Online business within Second Life today and compared to expectation NOW it is pretty much non existent, people need touch (human) to buy one or two items is good, but when entering into buying items in mass i do belive its slightly different. |

| # 3 I'm pretty sure Woolworths deliver in Dunedin $17. Type in Dunedin and it will show all the available suburbs. http://tinyurl.com/6gzbsv |

| I order groceries fortnightly from Woolies they are really really good. I always have excellent quality fruit, nothing is ever busted. They forget the odd item but offer a next day delivery (free) or a refund. |

| Always Google "Woolworths Vouchers" there is invariably a promo going which you can take advantage of ;D |
