Why is internet explorer doing this to me! 6 times in the last few hours the screen has almost gone white with the pop up - 'internet explorer has stopped working'. Am I able to fix this with a little help or will I need to contact telecom? TIA

It just did it again! Im on broadband. IE always restarts automatically after it closes. Why doesn't it just come up with the usual, 'ie cannot display this webpage'?

Not sure but I would suggest downloading firefox now, so that you still have a working browser while you figure out what's gone wrong.

Do you have any 'tool bars' on your IE?, or any other 'add-ons'?

The only thing i can think of is that I downloaded another year of anti-virus. Would that have anything to do with it?

It has nothing to do with Xtra. or the (ie cannot display this webpage). check the Updates, clean out the cookies etc. Or you have a windows error.

If you are going to get any other antivirus, remove Norton crap and install either Avast or Antivir. Done
