#1 | | How to uninstall avg8 please???? I have downloaded avast antivir successfully. I partially uninstalled avg8. I would like to uninstall avg 8 completely. Help please!!! Many thanks. immi2 | |

#3 | | No: 2 uuuuummmm - I wnet into Program Files and tried to delete each file. Some did and some didn't. Now I can't evenf ind the iocn/logo of avg8 in Control Panel/Add Remove Programmes to uninstall. Don't laugh!!! tx |

#4 | | Well I suggest you reinstall it and then uninstall it via the control panel....You can't (usually) uninstall a program just by deleting the files like that. |

#8 | | Use crapcleaner to uninstall things and clean after up the regestry with it ccleaner is found on www.filehippo.com dont run 2 antivirus at the same time antivir wont work right if avgcrap is still installed and not propper whiped with ccleaner. |

#9 | | Antivir and avast are far better then avgsux avg is and always was the worst free antivirus. and is installed by people who fix pc so they get more work later on. Antivir wont scan e-mails on the free version but it will find trojans virus that avg will miss. Also get other protection like spywareblaster from the filehippo site. I used to have adaware also on my winblows but i no longer use winblows mutch as i cant be botherd with updating all them protection programs that it needs to be even remotly save. |
