Anybody got a faxability switch, distinctive ring switch,or two, that they want to sell?

I havn't but was wondering I know when you have faxability on your line telecom give you another number but do you have to tell everyone that is your fax number or can they still use your origional number to send a fax? Like is the tones that make the fax go only on the new numbers line?

You get two phone numbers but the one phone line. Each phone number has a different ring. The faxability swicth can distinguish between the rings and switches to the fax or the phone.

Thaks Logo so are you saying that only when a fax is sent to the new number will the faxability switch (or fax) automatically pick up the call? Thus fax's sent on the origional number will not be picked up? I ask this because i don't want to be telling everyone (& printing new stationery) that I have a new fax number.

Yep if it's sent to the faxibility it'll pick up.. if dialed through to your normal number you can manually put it through to your fax by pressing start, but it will not pickup automatically.

#1... But if you want, I have a SmartRing+ Ring Decoder (Made by Saturn NZ). otherwise just get a fax number
