Pci-express power converter hi i am searching for a cable to get power to my video card, i bought the card used (8800gts pci-express), and there was no cable included. anyone have any ideas where to look? thanks

188234567. shop around but if you dont have the 6pin from the psu then thats what you need. the underlying potential problem is if the psu does not have the new connectors does it have enough power? what model psu do you have?

Thanks, i just bought a new 420watt psu, hope it is powerful enough

Uhhh. 420w model? even if its a very good psu then you are pushing it.

185702429. if thats the psu you bought. its a POS. you get what you pay and i wouldnt be surprised if it blows up in your face when you power on.

U bought a $24 psu to power your 8800gts? thats like putting retreads on your brand new Ferrari ..won't be long before it crashes;)

run some gpu+cpu intensive stuff together...
