Paint Shop Pro - How to cut out a circle?

Paint Shop Pro - How to cut out a circle? I'm trying to cut a circle out of a photo and paste it onto another page. I have the circle shape on the photo but I'm stuck as to how to cut it out of the photo so that when I paste it I only have the circle and not the corners. Can anyone help me please.

The circle is going into another image file? The transparent part of an image usually turns white by default if transferred into something like a .jpg. Maybe try saving as a .gif file?

Sorry not following you at the moment I have a photo that is square and I've put a circle shape onto it using the preset shapes bit. Now I want to cut out the circle bit to paste onto another blank document. I'm trying to print out lots of photos as circle and not to waste ink on printing the corners. Usually I copy and paste photos (once resized and cropped etc) onto an a4 page to print out altogether. Does that make sense?

Can you make the circle a layer?

Use the... selection tool (6th one down on the tool munu) then on your tool option selection window, change it to a circle and then draw the circle where you want to cut out the image (it might take you a couple of goes to get it right) and the simply cut and paste to where you want to put it.
