Adobe Premiere Elements 7 - audio help

Adobe Premiere Elements 7 - audio help I have purchased the above programme and want to make composite dvds of footage taken on holiday and to add some of the more intersting clips to Youtube.

I've worked out how to edit the clips and add them to Youtube but I can't find a way to remove unwanted audio (people talking and/or other background noise) from the clips.

Can anyone advise me on what I need to do, please?

have you tried any of the forums or their help sites? it's a paid app so you should get support [pre google though]

Thanks for the tip I've found the relevant forum and posted my question there.

If it's anything like normal Premiere right click of the clip in your time-line and select unlink audio. You can now trim the audio independent of the video.

Thanks for the info I will have a try later on. I really want to be able to get rid of the original audio (some of the things the people with whom I was travelling were saying are probably not appropriate for broadcasting on Youtube!) and replace it with a more safe audio 'we are in Leptis Magna - this is the theatre etc etc'
