My computer has crashed
| geek_daniel993 | March 11, 2008, 4:07 pm | #1 | | My computer has crashed i was just surfing the net when everything froze and nothing would move or open. so i restarted the computer all the lights on the tower light up but nothing comes up on the screen dvd drive opens and closes but nothing on the screen what should i do now? | |

| geek__sexylady_ | March 11, 2008, 4:10 pm | #2 | | Depending on you knowledge of computers depends what you do now, i would guess that its either a memory, graphics or PSU problem. is it onboard or graphics card, if you looked on the inside of your computer do you know what the memory sticks look like and the Hard drive and rom drive... i'm NOT asking you to open it im just asking you IF you would recognise those things.... |

Since you know what things look like on the inside, i would like you to remove the RAM sticks and re-seat them, unplug the POWER molex (white 4 prong connectors) that go both into your Hard drive and ROM drive and try to boot.... see if you get anything on the monitor. |
