Can't stand cats Killing machines. Lethal to birdlife, selfish and self indulgent. Dogs on the other hand, are loyal, honest (honest in that if you leave a steak for a minute, they'll eat it) and would die for you.
geek_hunnyb1 January 13, 2009, 8:48 pm
#23
Were all different im a cat lover, yes i agree they kill birdlife etc and they're very selfish.my cat is bigger than a few dogs.he helps me with my sewing.

Looks pretty vacant This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.Hakatere-Mines
a bloody mongrel thief.Steals my tools, tobacco & socks out of my room
then hides everything.I've found his
stash though LOL & get everything back. Then I steal his bones & balls-
bad parenting I suppose.

My wife had a magpie that used to do that. Loved shiny things. Used to drag my sockets and small ring spanners out of the garage and onto the lawn. Was happy when he flew away with some wild ones. Dogs do that because it's got your scent on it I suppose. Malamute, gotta love the eyes.

Ahh yes cats and dogsremember reading this story about the "differences" of owning either...said something like "call a dog, it will come to you...call a cat and it will take a message and get back to you later" I like either but have neither at the moment.

A Horse whisperer said horses are straight talkers - says dogs don't like to hurt the feelings of their owners but a horse doesn't care if it hurts your feelings or not - says cats fib all the time but will tell the truth if they are sick.

They are total characters. and charmers in the making.i would love a whole heap of them.they have no road sense, goliath does only because hubby accidently nudged him with the car.no broken bones only a very bruised ego.for once his size was a bonus, hes around 7kg.
geek_little_egypt January 14, 2009, 12:14 pm
#45
Watch out today he's just pressing random keys, tomorrow he'll be sending out emails to all his cat friends like a certain herd of cows seem to have been up to.

thanks for the linux reply And as for burmese having no road sense, we had 2 that ended up losing all 9 lives on the road:'o(...currently house sitting for my Mum and her elderly persian moggyshe hasn't shown up for 2 days and the food bowl is untouched...suspect she's gone for good too...

Bugger we live on a very busy road, lost an old ginger boy to the road just before christmas.he was a bit deaf and a bit blind.we think he was wandering off.strange thing is goliath had left him alone, for a few days beforehand.goliath used to tell him who was boss.
geek_sirfer January 14, 2009, 3:43 pm
#48
Yeah they know eh? Our road isn't very busy but the burmese used to sit out there washing themselves without a care...as for the old girl, she had a good innings...18 I believe, just have to break the news...
