help opening adobe pdf's

Help opening adobe pdf's for some weird reason adobe doesnt seam to be the default programme to open pdf's anymore. instead it uses windows picture and fax viewer? i have to manually right click and choose 'open with" to view them. anyone know how to reset adobe as the default? i have just downloaded the new reader 9 and this hasnt fixed the problem. thanks

Xp ? Control panel - Folder options - File types - scroll down to pdf and highlight and change.

Try thisRight-click the pdf file, select 'Open With' then 'Choose Program' and find Adobe Reader in the list of programs. Make sure the box is 'ticked' for always use this program for these type of files. Hopefully it works :D
