Mp4 player problem

Mp4 player problem I converted a short cartoon clip first using one program and then another. Then I transfered them to my mp4 player. Yet while some of the cartoon plays fine on the mp4 player at times the picture becomes distorted with large patches of colour and at times dots and lines. The original vob file and the two converted files all play fine on my PC. I have only put two other videos on the mp4 player, which are live action, which seem to play okay as far as i can tell. Any idea if it is likely to be a fault with the player or something else. Thanks.

Help us to help you. What's the Make and Model number of your MP4 player? What programme(s) have you been using? What is your OS? What bitrates, resolution etc have you been using?
