Help urgent too pleaseOur items on the desktop seemed to have disappear Can anyone help to restore themI am worried that I have virus I was just goin to start to download AVG tomorrow

Restart in 'safe mode' and see if the items are still there.

Try right-click anywhere on the desktop and hover your cursor over the "Arrange Icons By" option until a submenu pops up. On this submenu, there is an option labeled "Show Desktop Icons", if there is not a checkmark next to this option, then click on the option.

Yes it is when I google it the first thing come up was the antivirus pro one unless I typed wrong

Regarding question7 and 8 I only had it downloaded for about 10mins could I have been affected....Ferita thanks for the advice I have learnt my lesson
