#4 | | Put the TOSHIBA disk into it and fix it that way yourself. Unless of course you didn't bother to make your own recovery disks. |

#5 | | Ask the 'someone' for the password which they set when loading it. Aside from the fact that the Toshiba drivers won't work (you will need to download and load the Dell drivers) it is possible that it will work. Just ask for the password, and enter it... |

#6 | | You got it reversed gyro its a TOSHIBA that some MUTT has put a DELL recovery disk into. Some people need a good thump when they do this kind of thing. |

#8 | | Still a little odd tho A lot of the proper recovery disks are locked to THAT brand & model. Are you sure it's simply not an OEM install cd branded Dell. |
