Hi Has anyone had experience of these and are they a safe buy please? Our local puter store has one with godd specs at what seems a reasonable price. I am interested but would like some opinions before I take the plunge. |

| Just ask for a 3 year warranty in writing for no extra cost. |

| Good comments and good advice. Who fixes em when they go bust as aapparently they do? I have come across some horror stories about this. |

Visual Group would be you're closest agent in Wellington at a guess. They are basically HP.
If you get an extended waranty, it will most likley be with a 3rd party insurance company, rather than an extended compaq waranty. |

| Sad that we have to talk about xtended warrantiesas though it is a cert that one will be needed. What is wrong with expecting piece of gear to be reliable and not need one? LOL |
