I've got the same problem and have been able to post another message on their issues blog. Fingers crossed they take look at the problem soon! It must be them if the issue is so widespread.

britain is having same issues as nz ! its sorta their problem, explanation coming from webs site... . .
'Wait... what? ' Basically it's like a big ole game of connect the dots. There are several servers out there, some maintained by Webs etc and some that are freelance. They are all shared and somewhere there is a dot that's only partially filled in. We're trying to find that dot and get it fixed. -So what does this have to do with me? - It means that something is being delayed or broken in one of those jumps which is causing this issue. -Where is it? - Not sure where "it" is or if there's even one point of break. -I don't understand why it's so hard to fix this! -Sorry, it just is. I was explaining this issue to another user who sympathized that "You're trying to solve a problem thousands of miles and an ocean away that you're not even sure where it is or fully what's happening? " to which we answered "Yeah, trying to". Rest assured that we're not sitting around hoping this is magically resolved. We're doing everything we can to get it fixed for you. ! ? -So what do you need from us? - Patience, which you've already given in spades, and cooperation. We ask that when you reply you reply with you ISP, your location, and whether or not you still have the issue. If your issue is intermittent, let me know what hours you're mostly able to access the site. Please go to http://whatismyip.com/ and let us know what your IP is and email it to sofiercesasha atgmaildotcom
