shuttle take off this evening.

http://www.nasa. gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html

window said 'Quicktime failed to initialise error #0'

"Please make sure Quicktime is properly installed on this computer"

then another window says something about "apple application support'

then fire fox crashes.

OS W7, browser FF.

(I do have quicktime)

I went to apple site but couldn't find the application support download.

How can i resolve this issue please?

Hi,

I'm not sure, the folder just says Quicktime. I went through the folders to see the version but couldn't find it.

I'm guessing it's just a standard version that came with the comp.

would it be best to inistall what i have then download from the link you provided?

Start > Control Panel > Quicktime. Alternatively, launch Quicktime > Help > About.

You don't need to register. You have to pay for the pro version & you'll only get a registration code once you've paid for it. You may have to just upgrade your version to view the NASA site in quicktime format.

Shuttle weather officer says we are "green" for launch at this time. A little more than 20 minutes remaining in the T-9 minute hold.

STS-130's launch has been scrubbed for 24hrs due to low cloud ceilings. The decision was made at 4:30a ET.

More than an hour to launch. Did you miss the 45min hold 'thing'?

" There is a planned hold at T-9 minutes that will extend about 45 minutes. "

That was awesome, never get sick of watching the shuttle launch. Wonder if they postponed it 24 hours so the crew could watch the super-bowl - how American would that be! !
geek_r.g.nixon February 8, 2010, 10:30 pm
#40
The crew didn't watch it though - LOL.

Endeavour's crew members were busy getting ready for launch and did not watch the Super Bowl. But they were told the final score. (twitter.com/nasa)
