Hey guys,

Ive just bought a brand new Ipod touch, however when I go to register it and go into Itunes it tells me my network connection is not active. Has anyone had this before? I dont know what it would be :(

Thanks !

try to re-install itunes first (or download a new one and install again)

It wont even let me do that, just keeps saying:
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later...

go offline, then try it again, uninstall from control panel

I'd guess re-installing is going to achieve nothing aside from wasting time.

First thing to check is that iTunes is allowed though any firewall running on the PC or your router.

Then you should ask an expert to visit/look atyour computer because this has proven impossible to trouble-shoot via this forum so far.

well then its not an iTunes problem, there is something wrong with your connection.

Is it just international sites? do local ones work?
