| when trying to listen to a song before purchase I get acouple of words of the song then "rebuffering stream" appears this is repeated through to the end. very frustrating, then when I download a song it takes 15 minutes. My connection says "excellent". I have found a "open audio stream" URL option on advanced settings would this have anything to do with it, if so what do I put in the box? many thanks in advance |

| For the rebuffering issue, go into Preferences (or Options, or whatever it's called on your OS's version of iTunes), and under Advanced make sure Streaming Buffer Size is set to Large. This means it has to download more of the song sample before it starts playing, and should reduce or eliminate the stuttering although you'll have to wait longer before it starts playing. HTH. |

| I don't know what is telling you that your connection is "excellent", but your difficulty suggests that your connection isn't fast enough. A connection can be excellent quality without being fast. Are you on dialup? Ignore the audio stream box, it's not relevant to your difficulties with the iTunes store. |

"Excellent" is what windows tells you when you have a strong wireless connection, right?
Has nothing to do with the speed of the internet coming into your house. |
