#2 | | You'll be lucky to find that... ... . however you MAY find that 'open office' will open those files... ... ... use their 'base' application... . . |

#4 | OpenOffice won't open WDB databases. Go-Oo will open WPS documents.
Have a look at zamzar.com - they might have a conversion option for you. |

#5 | | Actually, you will find any version of MS Works will do. 4. 5, 8. 0, whatever. |

#6 | | I will try your suggestions, thanks R. G. Nixon, as I have borrowed an external floppy disk drive, that I can now try to install all my other files. |

#7 | | Just get Open Office for future use, download a works converter and then never use it again. |

#9 | | Chessman is it works 3, as the lady that had it has a new computer and her hubby thinks that she has got rid of her files? I would be really greatful if you can create and put onto floppies, or onto a pen drive, so that I can pay you for both? I have borrowed a floppy External disk drive, so can up load from either! Or if sending by email, please give me directions on what to do, as I need it for the new machine now! email me on mutchathnpldotnet. Thanks |

#10 | | Just to tell everyone, that once I connected an external floppy disk drive to my machine, I managed to get the floppys read, and have now printed the whole 140 pages of the files out, so if anything happens in the future, I still can read it, but it was pretty exciting to actually read the floppies in the Works 6 that I had put into my machine, thanks for your help everyone! ! | |
