#2 | | Do you mean how do you transfer a broadband account from one address to another? You ring your ISP (before you move ideally). |

#4 | | I have already called Telecom and changed everything over. I am now in my new house and have broadband connected, but it says it is connected to my old physical address - how do you change it to a new address? It's just a word, but I'm curious. |

#5 | 'it' says "connected to my [old physical address]"
this doesn't make sense... ... ... . . please post the EXACT message... ... . verbatim |

#6 | | What does it say (exactly, word for word) and where is it saying it? Leave out your exact address if that's what it's saying... |

#9 | | When you click on the Broadband icon on my toolbar, it says "currently connected to - ** somewhere road" and I want it to say "** something place". I guess it is semantics, and it doesn't really matter that much as it is working anyway, but I would just like to rename it. |

#10 | | I'm guessing you might have named your connection (in My Network Places) "123 Somewhere Rd"? Is that what you mean? |

#13 | | OK, so follow the same principles as you do for renaming other "files". Right click and see where you go ... . I don't have windows so I can't check. |

#14 | | I'll bet s/he's connected via wireless, & she named her wireless SSID as her old street. Ask telecom how to access your router & change the SSID |

#16 | | That's what my money is on. Probably a bad SSID too. I guess it lets people know who they are stealing bandwidth from |
