#1 | Can anyone give me advice on my hotmail email account? I dont know much about computers but I think it has a virus. People in my contacts list have been getting emails from me advertising iphones but I havent been sending them! The email also gets sent to my in box from me (if that makes sense).
I deleted all my contacts list hoping that would stop it sending to people. I now have another email from 'me' advertising a fashion website.
Any tips on how to remove this virus from hotmail would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

#5 | I had something very similar from a website called forat.com or something like that, I use Windows Live Mail with hotmail and when I googled the wesite etc I found that it was not a spoof but was something that I'd somehow picked up on the net, it seemed that virus scanners typically didn't pick it up... . To solve it, I quickly changed my password along with other passwords for the likes of paypal that could be reset through my homtail account. The I rebuilt my PC, I use Windows 7 and store all data on another PC so it was easy and only took 40 min or so.
I was really surprised at the number of people who thought that it was a legit site so it might pay to send an email warning your contacts (or at least your friends/family! ! )
