#1 | please? ?
For the first time I seem to have a problem opening up the very last sub-folder at its last step ---this particular one has 5 steps even.
They all open up fine, with a big drop-down list, but to actually see the pictures is not possible.
My actions are:
I am in My Documents--> My Pictures --> Old Pictures --> 2000-2006 --> 2005- 2006 --> but then i hit a snag --> it is (unfortunately) again subdivided into another period within this which admittedly says 'Folder is Empty', but when I open it there ARE several event folders, i. e. Paeroa Races, Xmas, Beachhop etc. .
THESE INDIVIDUALLY HOWEVER do not open for me --- the box only gives the choice toOpen, Search, Explore or Send to, etc...
Open does NOT open, is dead as a doornail. .
Hellllp, please? Am getting photos ready for a 21st. . and need them of course
Much appreciated- if you don't mind? Thanks heaps. . | |

#2 | | OK, right click the 2005-2006 folder & click properties. What's its size, how many files/folders? |

#4 | What if you turn off preview (thumbnails) before drilling down into the folders? Then double-click one of the files to open it with Windows Picture & Fax viewer. Thumbnail view can give trouble sometimes.
You could also make a new copy of the files using DOS, see if that works any better. |

#5 | Never ever had trouble with Thumbnail, i see the pix therefore too. . but ok, a bit lost, i don't see 'Windows Pc & Fax Viewer' -it doesn't offer me to do so
as per gyrogear's instructions
1/ have put it on Icons now, not Thumbnails 2/ I rightclick and it has a drop down list, i chose Open, it opens

#9 | | open Paint (Start > Run, type mspaint & press enter), go to edit, paste. Then save as a jpg & upload it here or to any other image host like tinypic.com, pict.com, flickr.com etc etc... |

#10 | | I have this issue when there are too many nested folders. That folder structure is quite deep. Try moving (Cut and paste) the non-opening folders into the root of mydocs |
