T-Stick? Is it possible to have a pc running off a t-stick, connected to a D-Link DSL G604T router and then connect another pc by ethernet to the router cable and run a wireless laptop as well?

I'm hoping that all I need to do is to reconfigure the router but am not sure what changes I need to make.

How are you intending to link them together? I'm not sure they would know how to communicate with each other...

Surely you can bridge/share your internet connection from whatever computer the t-stick is plugged into and make an ad-hoc wireless network?

was intending to link them by ethernet cable. Is that possible? How do I create and ad-hoc wireless network? Conceptually it sounds feasible but am not sure how to make it work practically.

You might like to tell us what operating system you're running on the computer with the t-stick so someone can help you. I don't use Windows (which is what I assume you're using) so I can't give you instructions although I'm sure Google can (internet sharing).

I am using vista on the laptop and xp on the pc. I can connect the t-stick to either the laptop or pc but would prefer to plug the t-stick into the pc with xp when setting up the network. Thanks I will try googling internet sharing as well.

I was going to do the exact same thing a couple of months back but changed my mind because in the end we decided to use only two computers so the router wasn't necessary.

So we have my notebook running vista and t-stick with ICS and an ethernet cable to another notebook running puppy... no problems.

it sounds easy enough to internet share other pcs but is it possible to setup a wireless laptop as well?

It should be. What I was going to do was to turn off DHCP on the router and assign static IP addresses but I never got around to it. Someone else may be able to provide some more help on this.
