My wireless is all connect but

I can not get my computer to connect? ? I have connect to my ipod it was so easy but my computer will not do! I have a compaq and hp wireless assintant does not even open... I can go to network places and my wireless is in there but when i right click on it it says invoke so i invoke and it comes up with a site saying that i am connected and its all good but my computer will not connect... I am ready to throw the computer please help i really need to hide to do my study.

not really anything happens! I go to invoke and it brings up a internet page titledas http:/ numbers /setup and this page tells me everything but what to do next i have no idea.

sorry i answered that up in another reply! my modem is motorola surfboard and router is belkin wireless and i am running on windows xp

belkin wireless doesn't tell me the model does it... ... ...

anyway do this

clik start button then goto programs/accessories and clik on 'command prompt'
then when that box pops up type in ipconfig /all and tap enter... ... report what the listing for 'default gateway' is

adapterConnection name

For Setclassid, if no ClassId is specified, then the ClassId is removed.

Sorry ihad to walk away last night! My friend looked at my computer this morning to find out that my computer does not have wireless even tho it has a wireless swicth it was one of those computers recalled a few years ago. . i have just purchased a usb to get wireless and it seems to work ok.
