Outlook Administrator Guru Question

If a user sends an email from outlook on BCC to a distribution list- I am assuming on MS Exchange Outlook- as an adminstrator can you view the email addresses in the BCC List?

You can view them as the administrator sender but not as the receiver

So does that mean the "Administrator" can view the BCC list that was created by the user?

They'd be able to see everything on their server and track all mail going out of it.

Why do you ask?

If you are the administrator, you can change the users password, and then log in as the user and review their sent mail - this will show the BCC list on that email.

Alternately, the administrator would have access to Mailmarshal, and be able to review the mail history, which would show you the delivery status to each recipient.

Thanks guys you have helped me! !

lol mailmarshal, most wouldn't have that... . as an admin you can give yourself full mailbox rights to the users account and just open Outlook as them, no need for changing password. Or can use message tracking in Exchange tools to search all messages that have passed through the Exchange servers.

They're only *guessing* it's Exchange, so who knows.
