Here we go... =)

Do you have the installation CD for office handy?

geek_satellitebeep, Nov 20, 11:11 pm

Copy the files from CD onto a thumb drive.

havent bought the cd yet are they expensive, just want micro word

geek_lynns3, Nov 20, 11:30 pm

What's "micro word"?

If you just want something that does the same as Word does then download Open Office. It's free.

It becomes very tricky to just copy word due to the fact that the installation CD installs files in multiple places in your computer.. Ask a friend if they have an office CD and copy the entire CD content onto a USB stick and do it that way

Good idea.. Or if you just wanted to view Word Documents then download the free Word Viewer from Microsoft:

Ahhh well you want the piracy section then.

Student version of office is not to bad price wise... but then totally depends on what Netbook you have, as mentioned is it running Windows CE... if so forget it.
