Server 2008 + Thinclients changing session timeout

Hi all, I have the above system running quite nicely but am having trouble getting the idle session timout changed. Basically I don't want users to be logged out unless they are away from their desks for an hour, not the default time ofa few minutes.

If anyone could walk me through it like I'm a complete Noob would be great.

Thanks in advance.

IIRC it is a setting on the Server that gives you the option to set the default away time

But as you say you are a complete Noob, I advise you pay someone who knows what they are doing to come do this for you as if you get the wrong setting you can cause a even bigger mess for yourself

Try Remote Desktop Gateway Manager. I tihnk there's a timeout tab.

Im not actually a complete noob, I just wanted this explained as if I was (read again). I find that way its easy to spot if I have missed something, especially something obvious!.

I am wondering if the thin clients connecting are over-riding the extended time out I set on the server like the other poster suggested.

I will check on their settings when I am at site next time.

Thankyou both for your help so far.
