PC isn't turning on.

it just shows no sign of power, I have tried doing all the things on this website, http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbysymptom/ht/nopowertopc.htm
except changing the motherboard. any other suggestions! Thanks

Try another Power Supply & install it with no power-switched off @ mains.

I have tried another power supply from my other computer and it didn't work either. I have found the same mb on trade-me for $70.00 should I replace the mb!. will all my files from the hard-drive be there!

If its an *identical* motherboard you wont have a problem, worst case scenario you may have to re activate Windows.

No sign of power! Did you try placing your tongue on any of the 8 pin plugs with the PSU turned on!

You haven't said what make model your motherboard is it may be that the motherboard has bad caps (capacitors)
