Just to clarify, did you actually install the updates, or just download them!

Also, have you tried another browser yet!

I have gone into programs and features in my puter, and I have Adobe Flash Player11 ActiveX installed. I only have internet explorer.

One should always have at least two browsers. In case of problems with either a browser or a website.

Try reinstalling Flash Player.

Sometimes using the uninstaller helps before reinstalling.

Download the uninstaller for Flash Player from:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-playe r-windows.html (Make sure you use the right one, 32 bit or 64 bit. )

Then using Internet Explorer, go to following and install Flash Player:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

(I recommend you UNTICK the Google Toolbar option).

If you later want to install Firefox (another browser), you have to also go to the "get.adobe.com/." link above using Firefox and do the same.

I had the same problem, and nothing I did would allow videos to play. I reinstalled flash player many times but it still would not work with internet explorer. I downloaded google chrome and everything works perfectly. If you want to stick with internet explorer, then easy media player will take over from adobe flash. Download free here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Players/Easy-Data-Mediaplayer.shtml

Thanks guys, I have now got google chrome on the puter, which seems to have helped. But hubby went to check his emails on internet explorer (telstraclear), and they needed to be opened thru Adobe :-( which didnt work.
Thankyou also Nanju, I will try the link to download easy media player.
Fingers Crossed :-)

So open them in chrome.! Where is the problem!

Adobe isn't used for emails.
Any browser can be used to open webmail from telstraclear.
