Thanks, I have tried to get it working repeatedly. I would really like to know about getting the t-stick working without the hotspot.
I just found that it came with the usb adapter cable so thats good :o)

Another vote for 'just get the hotspot working' - going to be far simpler and more reliable

Get someone to get the mobile wifi hotspot working. I use a Vodafone one and would never go back to a stick. In some situations I do have to USB plug it into one computer to get good reception but mostly it's just great

I have tried repeatedly to get it working. Maybe its faulty, I dont know, but I have tried for countless hours and it will not work.It doesnt help that the instructions are mostly in Chinese and the English instructions are almost illegible. I dont want to buy another one, I would rather try and make use of what we already have.

I dont have anyone who can help me, and if I was in a position to pay a tech, I would just buy another hotspot, but I cant at the moment.

The trouble is whether the USB modem will work depends on what model/revision it is and exactly what firmware the tablet is running - its a huge headache
