Have upgraded to Windows 10 and it uses Microsoft Edge as the browser how do I revert to Internet Explorer please?

Open it from the apps menu

Go to explorer and go to program files (x64) got to Internet Explorer and look for iexplore. Right click and select pin to taskbar.
The IE logo will appear on the bottom bar.

It's a bit buried. All Apps then way down to windows accessories and expand that. You can right click and select add to taskbar from there as well.

Have tried those options and for some reason it just won't open up.

Managed to unbury. but just not playing ball. it pretends it is going to open with the blue circle and then just orbits off into space. grrrrrr

Why not use Edge? Much better than IE from what I can see

geek_suicidemonkey, Aug 7, 7:35 pm

Edge seems to "hang".

I read somewhere the other day you can set to us IE,FF,or Opera instead of Edge if you want. You have to set them as default the same as you did in all other OS

Internet explorer is so last year infact I believe they are getting rid of it

geek_camerong1, Aug 9, 1:00 pm

Not likely any time soon - Edge is still far from being usable as a general purpose browser

You type "i" for Internet Explorer in the search box on your taskbar and it's right there under apps.
How is that buried?
