Cortana - its crap!

I was at a customers job the other day where the keyboard was no longer working after windows 10 was upgraded, so i tried using cortana with the microphone to ask for some info on google and what do i get on the search results but "TOP PORN STARS"
rotfl my customer was in hysterics.
Anyway i noticed shortly afterwards that stickykeys and filterkeys were enabled! Have no idea why they would be turned on, but they cause nothing but trouble, i find it unusual that both would be accidentally enabled by two seperate keyboard shortcuts, but there you go.

Oh and cortana insisted in using bing, despite google being the default search engine and me specifically saying google.

No matter how clearly and slow i tried to speak, it was just coming up with pure random garbage.

I know the microphone was working flawless on skype with crystal clear voice. Either way, Siri and S-voice leave cortana for dead.

I don't know why you'd expect any different - Cortana isn't supported at all in this locale.

lol, not that i care, i think its a gimmick, but M$ think its the future so i thought they would have gone to better trouble to make it understand kiwi "accents" if thats what you are referring to.

They even go on about it as if its something new and amazing, its not, they were not even the first with this "technology" and they certainly are not the best.

Im getting sick of all these people buying these crappy AiO systems geared up for it along with touchscreens and paying over $3k for these pieces of junk at the likes of harvey norman.

Touchscreens on a desktop are pointless, unless there is a specific use you want one for.

It will be available here eventually but at the moment it isn't

Thats quite interesting to learn! lol
I didnt think they had to localise it that much.

Of course they do - speech to text is hugely dependent on local accents
