Win 7 Backup help please

biggles92, Mar 27, 6:41am
Last night I was backing up my laptop to disks and as it was taking so long, I left it open (to continue in morning) to go to bed. In the meantime, I think an update was done, and computer was restarted. So, backup was not successful. Do I have to erase the disks and start the back ups all over again, or is there a way I can continue from the last place the backup ended?

What do you mean by 'disks'?

OP probably means backing up to DVDs.

If the backup was to exceed 4gb then more than one "disc" would be needed
If you were in bed, who ws going to swap out the disks?

buy an external HDD >1TB, and backup to that.
