Browser freezing, very slow.

My windows 7 computer has become very slow loading and changing pages in both IE and chrome.
I have cleared history and cache and still no difference. HELP!

Same here, now when I click on chrome to connect to the internet it completely freezes. Have tried doing a system restore and can't even get that to work. Everything appears to be freezing up, any suggestions please would be greatly appreciated.

try with add-ons disabled and see if behaviour change?

If you look at the thread speed test you will find you are not alone.
I thought it might be an update but with speed tests it appears it might be an isp issue esspecially when other s are having the same problems.
are you both on Vodafone

I've observed that clearing the logs can help, and once the logs are clear it's easier to view the events that you should pay attention to:

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer
Under Windows Logs, click on each item and then click 'Clear Log'
ie; Application -> Clear Log (etc)

Chrome is a slow POS out of the box now, even IE outperforms it now.

I am having the problems since updating FF even chrome is slow. have reverted back to IE and it works well but my speed test still shows UL= 1.67 DL=0.45. way too slow but at least in IE I can view websites and type here in MB

Have cleared logs, that along with clearing history and cache seems to have done the trick. Thanks
