I have gone back to Chrome as Firefox continually crashes and freezes up. You would think they could sort out their crap.

geek_wayne416, May 10, 10:06 pm
Agreed, try Opera mini, very fast and saves a lot of data but wont play video or the full blower version which will do it all. The default android browser is not bad. My phone has most Google apps shut down so haven't used and not likely to try Chrome.

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 10:30 pm
What is the 'default android browser" called?

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 10:32 pm
Ahhh, I think I know what one you are talking about. From memory is pretty plain?

geek_wayne416, May 10, 10:36 pm
Its just called browser, on mine, 4.2.2 its icon is a blue earth.

geek_wayne416, May 10, 10:40 pm
Maybe plain but lots of features once you get use to it just like a desktop browser.

geek_vtecintegra, May 10, 10:45 pm
Chrome since 4.4

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 10:45 pm
trying to remember where the browser is

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 10:48 pm
so maybe mine is just chrome then?

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 10:49 pm
Mines chrome 42.0.2311.111

geek_wayne416, May 10, 10:58 pm
Settings- apps- all apps, maybe disabled.

geek_wayne416, May 10, 11:02 pm

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 11:09 pm
I remember it looked like an image of the globe (world)
I have looked under Settings, but there isn't "apps- all apps"
I looked under Application manager instead. looks like it has disappeared anyway.

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 11:12 pm
Hang on, Im thinking of my Tablet. Thats where i saw the browser

geek_wayne416, May 10, 11:12 pm
Disabled apps are at bottom of list in all apps so scroll to bottom, maybe there.

geek_vtecintegra, May 10, 11:14 pm
Depends on your device - what are you using? (and what Android version)

geek_tool_shop173, May 10, 11:27 pm
Its a samsungS3 version 4.3

geek_rz_zone, May 10, 11:29 pm

geek_vtecintegra, May 10, 11:29 pm

geek_velenski, May 11, 12:28 am

geek_oclaf, May 12, 11:32 am
