I have gone back to Chrome as Firefox continually crashes and freezes up. You would think they could sort out their crap.

Agreed, try Opera mini, very fast and saves a lot of data but wont play video or the full blower version which will do it all. The default android browser is not bad. My phone has most Google apps shut down so haven't used and not likely to try Chrome.

What is the 'default android browser" called?

tool_shop173, May 10, 10:32pm
Ahhh, I think I know what one you are talking about. From memory is pretty plain?

wayne416, May 10, 10:36pm
Its just called browser, on mine, 4.2.2 its icon is a blue earth.

wayne416, May 10, 10:40pm
Maybe plain but lots of features once you get use to it just like a desktop browser.

vtecintegra, May 10, 10:45pm
Chrome since 4.4

tool_shop173, May 10, 10:45pm
trying to remember where the browser is

tool_shop173, May 10, 10:48pm
so maybe mine is just chrome then?

tool_shop173, May 10, 10:49pm
Mines chrome 42.0.2311.111

wayne416, May 10, 10:58pm
Settings- apps- all apps, maybe disabled.

wayne416, May 10, 11:02pm

tool_shop173, May 10, 11:09pm
I remember it looked like an image of the globe (world)
I have looked under Settings, but there isn't "apps- all apps"
I looked under Application manager instead. looks like it has disappeared anyway.

tool_shop173, May 10, 11:12pm
Hang on, Im thinking of my Tablet. Thats where i saw the browser

wayne416, May 10, 11:12pm
Disabled apps are at bottom of list in all apps so scroll to bottom, maybe there.

vtecintegra, May 10, 11:14pm
Depends on your device - what are you using? (and what Android version)

tool_shop173, May 10, 11:27pm
Its a samsungS3 version 4.3

rz_zone, May 10, 11:29pm
Try Dolphin.

vtecintegra, May 10, 11:29pm
I think it's just called 'Internet' on those

velenski, May 11, 12:28am
