I think I have a virus, but I can't find it

My computer has been nuts the past few days. It started after finding AVG Safeguard toolbar and removing it. Now I turn it on in the morning, update something, save then try to leave and I get a loooooooooong wait and then "Windows is not responding". I have to restart which makes Chrome crash all my extensions. I can't get SuperMalwareBytes to open at all.

Oh, and my phones been playing up too. I wasn't using it but it started making random calls to people. I had to take the battery out to make it stop.

Try System Restore to take your PC back to the most recent date that it was behaving.

Thanks. I did run Eset and found another bundled toolbar. I hope that's the end of it.

My antivirus is about to run out. Is AVG any good

Panda & Avast are better than AVG.

If you are only wanting a free one, my pick would be Avast or Panda. Some good reading:

I have Avast. I'm not sure how I got the AVG.

Microsoft Essentials is good too.

No, MSE is one or the poorest.
