"outlook.com was not able to complete this request

Anyone else getting this and has found a solution?

All the online solutions suggested have not fixed this for me at all

there is mail I cannot read due to this error. Microsoft's solution does not work for me, neither does it for a lot of folk either

Anyone managed to get a resolution?

The first step in any troubleshooting is to clear the browser cache/cookies. (you need to clear ALL cookies)

*For Internet Explorer browser & MSN Butterfly: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Delete
*For Google Chrome: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Browsing Data
*For Firefox: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Now
(other browsers are similar)
If clearing the cache doesn't help answer these.

Are you accessing your mail via a web browser or email client? See the differences between them here
Are you having problems accessing other accounts on the same computer?
Does the same problem exist when you use a different browser?
Does the issue persist on other computers?

Does not work . Seems to not work for a lot of people in the thread

I've been having trouble getting into Outlook, but I realised that it was just taking a very long time to open.

not my issue I can get in Ok but I get that message when I try to open emails
