Hey guys, Am wanting to set up a vpn network on my router so all my tv's computer etc can get the U.S netflix and HBO/amazon tv etc. How do I tell if my router can do it and is there any step by step guides? My router is a Netcomm NF4P

I think you would need to set the VPN up on your pc, here's how to set up the router for the VPN

https://www.unblock-us.com/ and https://www2.unotelly.com/ are a common way for people to do it nowadays, very simple instructions to follow. Can set it up at router level or on individual devices. These are more of a smart DNS service with VPN options available.

Better method is to run your own dns server and forward relevant traffic to unotelly. A Raspberry Pi project maybe.

further to post#3 you can change the DNS server the modem uses for a service like unblock-us

details here for a dlink
https://support.unblock-us.com/customer/portal/articles/291520

but much the same for netcomm
under advanced setup -> dns

if you want to test it try changing it to google dns servers
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
