WDTV power adapter.

Question: I've been looking for a WD TV Media Player and found one listed which was bought in the US and has a power adapter for use with US power points. I have other WD (Western Digital) products which use the same power adapter. Would it be likely that I could use one of the adapters I have, with this product made for the US market?

Power Specifications AC input voltage 100-240V, 0.5A Max
AC input frequency 50-60 Hz

My MediaPlayer adapter is identical to the WD external hard drive adapter. IIRC the output of the adapter is 12v dc 1.5 amp.

There's your clue. NZ uses 230volts so as long as your existing adapter(s) are AC 100-240v and ?? 0.5A, then you should be fine.

All good now. I did end up buying a NZ one but the answers, all good in their own way, satisfied my curiousity. Thanks.
