Samsung S5 Video recording?!

To those in the know, please help me out. I shoot video with my phone vertical, when I upload to my computer ALL the videos are sideways, sooooo mega frustrating! Is there a setting on my phone that I dont have quite right? Thanks in advance.

Always shoot video landscape, phone sideways not upright, that's the way it works

Video isn't vertical. Look at the shape of the computer monitor in front of you.

Shoot sideways.

Funny continence you have bought up this problem, just the other night on Americas Funniest Home Videos the host gave a demo of how to hold a phone because they were getting so many videos that they couldn't use because they were shot in portrait.

Use video editing software to rotate the video.

Then it's going to be sideways. Which is good. But the actual video content will be sideways too lol.

Moral: don't shoot portrait.

Wondered how long it would take for you to get onto that one.

I'm a video editor. I'm passionate about ridding the world of vertical video :p
