No Apple support for Oculus Rift

how many die hard Apple fans do you know who have said they will never buy a Windows PC will be compromising their ideals next year and buying a Windows PC so they can run the Oculus Rift?

Probably not many since Boot Camp is a thing.

are apple running the required hardware? NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater and Intel i5-4590 processor equivalent or greater

You really need at least a desktop 980 anyway so Apple gear isn't exactly suitable (entirely mobile GPUs)

gonna be definitly be seeing a big rise in desktop PC's sales, it's an exciting time we moving into with VR

VR is a fad. sure it has some nice features, it also has an enormous drawback.
AR is years away from maturing too.

Yeap I think I'll worry about my Mac not running it when I can see the benefits personally. My Mac doesn't support 3D either, guess i'm missing out there too.

obviously no benefits with VR which would explain why none of the big players in the IT industry are putting much money and research into it
