RFID tag help

Hi all, I am fairly new to rfid technology. To cut a long story short, I am trying to find out the following:

Those little rfid "tags" appear to have a 10 digit serial number printed on them, where as the larger rfid "cards" have a longer 18 digit serial printed on them.

I need the last 8 digits of that long serial number for my purposes. So my questions to you are:

1. Do those small "tags" still have the longer 18 digit number associated with them and do they still send it in the same fashion as the larger cards?

2. If they do, is it possible to deduce those extra 8 digits from the 10 digit serial number, ideally without having to have the card present to read it (this application already has cards all over the country so don't want to recall them all).

3. If it is possible to deduce those extra numbers, how do I do it!

Any help on this would be SUPER appreciated. Much thanks in advance.

My understanding is I am working with 125kHz EM protocol cards/tags.
