unnecessary

My Firefox browser keeps crashing and locking my phone up. I have to restart my Samsung S3 to get the browser to work. I am trying Malwarebytes just in case their is malware. No Harm

It's extremely unlikely.

Maybe you just need to 'clean' your phone (more often). It might have to much junk, cpu might be overheating, too many background apps running etc.

I always clear apps that are running in the background.

No point whatsoever in doing that - any problem apps will just start themselves again anyway

Why not just lose Firefox and try another browser? Plenty to choose from. Life's too short to put up with unruly apps. I like Opera myself: 1st equal with the stock browser.

Try Dolphin.

Chrome beta hasn't given me any problems.

you better try to uninstall and restart the phone then reinstall it. its more like some update incompatible files new old version, have corrupded your app. all programs are apps.
i had to do that on my samsung tv full factory reset then redownload app again to get tv nz on demand work again
