Check the box or other accompanying crap and see if anything mentions a chipset. Otherwise plug it in. even if it doesn't setup a driver and work as such you'll need 'unknown device identifier' program,

http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/unknown_device_identifier,1.html and once the device is plugged in it might be able to tell you what the chipset is - that's what you need to find a driver for. Or. plug it into a later version of windows - hopefully it'll setup and then extract the driver for it and import it to your xp . use this driver backup progam for that its free:

ok thanks all, thought it would be faster to ask here because i know how on to it a lot of you are :) Will contact the seller and see what he has to say. Selling my house and just wanted messy cables down the hallway gone. Once the house is sold it will be new toys for me, goodbye xp forever lol

I use "Snappy Driver Installer" to get these to work in Windows 7

Maybe it will work for XP
