Wot? if it only has a 1 secound play time then it would go dlip and that that was it... for converting cds etc to mp3 you use cdex http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

geek_rz_zoneMarch 14, 2008, 1:57 pm#5

geek_michelle145March 14, 2008, 1:59 pm#6

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you run us through what you are trying to do again..
geek_gyrogearlooseMarch 14, 2008, 2:40 pm#8
Are you wanting to burn the MP3's as an Audio CD that will play in any CD player? If so, make sure you specify an Audio CD before burning.

Ok so i have a file with music that i have got from limewire. It is 3MB. However, when I go to burn it onto a disc, it says that its only 1second in length, and the title comes up on the stereo, but then it goes straight to the next song....im thinking i have to extract or rip the file somehow first? It supposedly has 3-4 Love to Sing songs, thank you

What format is that file??? If it's mp4 - which reads as '.m4a' - it is kinda hard understanding how a 3 mb media file, only lasts 1 second.
geek_coleno1March 15, 2008, 9:08 am#12
3MB... ...is the average size of 1 song- soundz like you got ripped off?? Try downloading those files again, 3-4 songs should be about 12-15 MB
geek_coleno1March 15, 2008, 9:12 am#13
Re#9.. I think you just downloaded 'the title' - like you said in #9 "..and the title comes up on the stereo,.." - that's your '1 second'...
geek_michelle145March 15, 2008, 1:58 pm#14
Ohreally? its kids songs, love to sing. Everytime i search for a particular song (on that CD) it shows that song, and says I already have it (in the title of that other song?) Sorry, confusing i know....
geek_rz_zoneMarch 15, 2008, 2:30 pm#15
.... sounds like a corrupt file. just get a new one.
geek_michelle145March 15, 2008, 2:34 pm#16
There is only that one on there its a love to sing cd with 'alice the camel' 'five little fingers' 'hey baby lets rock and roll' 'five little speckled frogs' etc etc. Wheneva i search for any of those songs, it says i have them, and points to that file, which is the largest by far of all the kids songs i have...but its like it needs to be extracted or converted or something. Its an mp3 like all the rest tho...
